Thank you @gideonhermosa for the beautiful peonies. On Wednesday, I get to fulfill my promise to my inaanaks, @dongdantes & @therealmarian – I’m guesting in Yan Ang Morning. ❤️ Tomorrow see you Dasmariñas, Cavite. I’m gracing the unveiling of the People Power Monument, hospital marker & the hospital blessing of Pagamutan Ng Dasmariñas because of the kind invitation of Congressman Pidi & Mayor Jenny Barzaga.

Fresh from her two-month vacation in the US, presidential sister and actress Kris Aquino is set to become a guest in the morning talk show of Marian Rivera on GMA 7 network.

Aquino, an ABS-CBN talent, confirmed the news in an Instagram post on Monday.

She said she would appear in the show to fulfill her promise to Rivera and her husband, Dingdong Dantes.

“On Wednesday, I get to fulfill my promise to my inaanaks, @dongdantes & @therealmarian—I’m guesting in ‘Yan Ang Morning,’” Aquino said.

Reports say that Aquino’s appearance in Rivera’s show is an act of gratitude for the couple’s help in the campaign of Vice President-elect Maria Leonor “Leni” Robredo.

Aquino is the biggest contributor in the Robredo campaign, shelling out P30.8 million for the outgoing Camarines Sur representative.

She is also set to represent outgoing President Benigno Aquino III in Robredo’s inauguration on June 30.

Before appearing in Rivera’s morning show, Aquino had “KrisTV,” her own morning show on ABS-CBN. The show debuted in 2011 and was cancelled last April due to the actress’ desire to spend more time with her family and take care of her health. AJH/rga
