British singer-songwriter Adele may have broached a clue of her upcoming performance in the country.
In a video filmed by Michael Keppens and shared by Philippine Concerts Facebook page on Friday, Adele was singing in front of a crowd in Antwerp, Belgium, when Filipino fans caught her attention.
“Where are you from?” Adele asked them.
“Philippines! From Manila,” the group cheered.
She narrated an anecdote and then asked the group, “Would anyone come to my show if I went to Manila?”
The video garnered 175,000 views, 1,930 shares, 8,800 likes, and reactions, and nearly 600 comments. Filipino netizens can’t help but giggle at the hint, but some suggested that, if ever, Adele to perform next year due to other line-ups of music moguls this year, such as Coldplay, Pentatonix, and K-pop boy band BTS.
