Jessica’s solo debut to clash with Girls’ Generation

Former Girls’ Generation member Jessica will be returning to the K-pop industry after joining the agency Coridel Entertainment on Monday.
An industry insider commented that Jessica has been preparing her solo album since last fall and also recorded several tracks.
According to her company, her album is to be released within the first half of 2016.
Some of the current Girls’ Generation members, Tiffany, Taeyeon and Yuri, who are under SM Entertainment, have also recently announced upcoming solo comebacks. After Tiffany’s comeback in March, Taeyeon and Yuri will follow suit with their comebacks.
There appears to be some rivalry going on between the former and current Girls’ Generation members. Jessica will be the host of cable channel KBS W’s new beauty talk-show, “Beauty Bible.” Meanwhile Girls’ Generation’s Hyoyeon has been recently cast as a co-host in On Style channel’s famous makeup show, “Get It Beauty.”
