Controversial star’s vanity project in limbo

/ 12:04 AM January 20, 2016

CONTROVERSIAL Personality is cooking up a vanity project—of course, with the kind assistance of Wealthy Benefactor.

CP looks at the endeavor as a fitting reward—much-awaited redemption after enduring the slings and arrows of outrageous fortune.

CP approached Industry Insider who balked at the idea. CP then turned to Popular Celebrity. After all, PC owes a debt of gratitude to WB.

So far, the jury is out on PC.

FEATURED STORIES

But then again, is PC ready to take on such a risky gambit?

Well, CP is not exactly well-loved in certain show biz circles.

Double time

Cantankerous Insider is making a lot of noise—to sweep past sins under the rug. CI pocketed other people’s money, that’s why. To distract disgruntled pals, CI blamed Powerful Personalities.

CI targeted Popular Celebrity who is very much in the news these days.

By attacking PC, CI was able to hit two birds with one stone. CI succeeded in passing the blame and is able to please a new boss at the same time.

CI is obviously in cahoots with PC’s Rabid Enemy.

Never say never

Luscious Hottie swore never to work with Prolific Playboy again.

Former Ally claims LH was the only one who got away from PP’s sharp claws.

Now FA is singing a different tune. FA seemed unsurprised that LH and PP are back in each other’s arms.

FA scoffs: “LH can’t help it… Once you’ve been wooed and won by PP, there’s no turning back!”

Never say never again.

Honesty…

Such a lonely word, as the song goes.

In show biz, diplomacy often gets in the way of telling the truth.

Hunky Celeb, however, seems unafraid to call a spade a spade. Seems HC has become more pugnacious and will not mince words when talk turns to Pushy Colleagues.

Perhaps HC has learned a thing or two about being brutally frank from Maverick Artist.

At a social gathering, MA casually compared the PCs to predatory swamp creatures.

Ouch!

Homebound

From the Inquirer tabloid Bandera:

Seasoned Star was all set to make the big move.

At the last minute, SS backed out of a mammoth deal that allegedly entailed a hefty package.

SS got cold feet because the offer included multiple projects and constant traveling.

SS would rather stay home these days.

SS’ priorities have obviously changed these days.

Top of the talk shows

For those who missed last weekend’s gabfests on TV. (And why we are moved, if we are moved.)

Dingdong Dantes on being a dad to daughter Letizia: “Napakasarap! Sabi nila mapupuyat ka, but actually walang ganu’n. Ang bait-bait niya!” (Enjoy till she hits the terrible twos.)

Maine on kalyeserye guest Jake Ejercito: “Mabait po siya, simple lang… Good-looking.” (Hmmm… triangle in the works?)

Gerald Anderson on getting a tattoo for a coming movie: “Sobrang sakit nga, e. Takot ako sa karayom, pero ginawa ko para kay direk Dan (Villegas).” (Have you heard of henna?)

JANICE de Belen

JANICE de Belen

Janice de Belen on working with ex-husband John Estrada’s wife Priscilla Meirelles: “Hindi kami magkaaway, kaya hindi ko maintindihan kung bakit sobrang big deal (for others).” (Precisely. Moving on…)

Daniel Matsunaga, asked if marrying Erich Gonzales has crossed his mind: “Oo naman. Mahal na mahal ko siya…but we’re focused on work. Why not wait a little more for forever?” (Patience is a virtue.)

Erich on marriage: “It’s a lifetime commitment, so kailangang ready tayo diyan mentally, emotionally, financially.” (Lahat ng -LY. How about spiritually?)
