IN LIGHT of the controversy surrounding a TV director’s on-set tantrum against a bit player, actor Sid Lucero explains why “bullying,” or the so-called “culture of oppression,” has become pervasive in show business: “As much as our industry is the way it is, no one has the right to treat another person that way. This problem still exists because of how we deal with it… which is —to turn a blind eye. No one complains. If you made a fuss, you might get replaced by a talent who would charge a lower fee. So, some people would rather keep silent. Sad, but that’s how it is!” Bayani San Diego Jr.
