Pia Wurtzbach is a smart girl—Pauleen Luna

“CALM and composed” was how actress-host Pauleen Luna described her friend Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach hours after her coronation night on Monday morning (Philippine time).

“Si Pia, when she’s her normal self and she’s happy, talagang halatang-halata. But last night, the tone of her voice was very different. Parang kalmadong-kalmado,” ” Luna said in an interview with GMA 7’s News To Go on Tuesday.

Luna said Pia can’t still believe that she won the 2015 Miss Universe crown.

“I think hindi pa rin talaga siya makapaniwala na she’s Miss Universe,” she said.

Luna said Wurtzbach was happy with the overwhelming support of Filipinos on social media.

The TV-host said she was confident with how Wurtzbach answered during the question-and answer-portion.

“If there’s one thing I am confident about at hindi talaga ako kinakabahan, it’s the question and answer. Because she’s a smart girl, “she said.

Luna said Wurtzbach was “really prepared” to compete and win the Miss Universe 2015.

“She really prepared for it—mentally, physically, spiritually. I think God really orchestrated this whole thing. She won in her third attempt in Binibining Pilipinas because this is the right time para manalo siya as Miss Universe,” she said. NC
