‘A Second Chance’ now highest-grossing Filipino film of all time

Third time may be the charm but A Second Chance has the glam.

John Lloyd Cruz and Bea Alonzo’s romantic drama is now the highest-grossing Filipino movie of all time, raking in P566 million worldwide as per Star Cinema executive Roxy Liquigan.

Liquigan posted the announcement via Instagram with the straightforward post “now the highest grossing Filipino movie of all time” together with the movie’s poster.

A Second Chance beat the previous record holder “The Amazing Praybeyt Benjamin,” one of the entries in the 2014 Metro Manila Film Festival starring comedian Vice Ganda, by a whopping P100 million.
