Chito Miranda gives wife Neri .22 caliber rifle as Christmas gift
Christmas came early for one half of the Miranda couple, and it’s one gift that should be listed under Santa’s “naughty” list.
Chito Miranda, the frontman of “Parokya Ni Edgar,” gave his wife Neri a .22 caliber long rifle as an early Christmas present and Neri accepted the gift like a little girl accepting a doll.
“Kinikilig ako ng sobra-sobra! While other girls eh gustong makatanggap ng mga mamahaling bags, ako mas trip ko ‘to. Salamat, baby ko! Ibang klase ka talagang magpakilig! (I am so thrilled! While other girls want to receive expensive bags, I would rather receive this. Thanks, baby! You really have a different way of making me fall in love),” Neri wrote on her Instagram.
Chito, who usually goes to firing ranges, explained why he gave Neri a gun on Instagram with a hint of seriousness and jibes.
“Got my wife her own rifle para sumama na siya sa akin tuwing magfa-firing ako at para kapag may magnanakaw, she’d be able to protect herself better, at higit sa lahat, para kapag magka-totoo ang ‘The Walking Dead,’ dalawa kaming lalaban instead na ako lang (Got my wife her own rifle so she can come with me every time I go firing and if there’s a thief she’d be able to protect herself better. Most of all if ‘The Walking Dead’ comes true we’d be a couple fighting them off instead of just me),” Chito wrote.
