Ryan Rems headlines Rock And Roll To The World Comedy Tour
2015 has been a huge and significant year for stand-up comedy in Cebu.
Comedy Cebu, VisMin’s first and only local and international point-of-view stand-up comedy group, has been organizing shows, workshop and open mics for the past 11 months for the love of observational comedy, with the aim of making Cebu part of the global comedy circuit. The group has featured some of the best comics from the country and around the world since they debuted at Movenpick Hotel Mactan Island Cebu last January.
Together with Comedy Manila, who has been a staunch supporter and collaborator since the beginning of its inception, Comedy Cebu is presenting their last set of shows for the year 2015 this coming November 13-14 in Cebu City.

Comedy Cebu and Comedy Manila present a comedy line-up including some of the best in the Philippine stand-up comedy scene.
Headlining the show will be RYAN REMS SARITA. Sarita, whose fame rose with his participation and victory in ABS-CBN’s Showtime segment “The Funny One”, is now a household name among Filipinos.
Unknown to many, Ryan has been doing stand-up comedy for the past 7 years in Manila, always acknowledging Comedy Manila as his roots and brotherhood in comedy. Also, the comedian has already performed with Comedy Cebu before; he opened for Vivek Mahbubhani, an international and well-respected stand-up comedian from Hong kong, in two shows last April, just a couple of months before his own meteoric rise on TV with his deadpan, socially relevant humor and catchphrases: “Rock and roll to the world!” and “Woooooh! Orayt!”.
The tour will also include other comedy talents in its line-up. NONONG BALLINAN, also a comic contender and 2nd runner-up on Showtime’s “The Funny One”, RED OLLERO, JAMES CARAAN and Comedy Manila’s co-founder no less, GB LABRADOR, will all be coming to Cebu to perform and join in on the fun of the comedy tour. Comedy Cebu founder and international stand-up comedian, GARY JACKSON, will also be performing.
Friday the 13th at USC-Talamban Campus
University of San Carlos – Supreme Student Council has collaborated with Comedy Cebu to bring the tour exclusively to Carolinians this coming November 13th, Friday. The show will be staged at SAFAD Theatre in USC – Talamban campus at 7 PM.
Tickets are currently being sold at Php 250, and will increase to Php 300 on the day of the show.

The funny men will bring their skills and humor to a more uninhibited (and uncensored) level the following day at Crown Regency Hotel and Towers Fuente – Club Ultima’s LEVEL 36. The show is for more mature audiences and for everyone who is interested to see not only Ryan Rems onstage, but also intelligent, live, point-of-view comedy.
Tickets are available at Php 300 for regular seats and Php 400 for VIP seats. Seats are limited.
