Comedy Queen Ai-ai delas Alas received a surprise for her 50th birthday from former child actor Jiro Manio.
On her Instagram account, Ai-ai posted a message from Manio, who thanked her for the support she gave to him.
“Hi, Mama Ai. Happy birthday. Wish ko sana maging successful ang iyong mga ginagawa at more birthdays to come. Nandito lang ako. Maraming salamat sa suporta. Happy birthday,” Jiro said.

The video was from Dr. Ma. Bernadette Arcena, the physician tapped by Ai-ai to take care of the former child actor.
On her part, Ai-ai said thanked Jiro for his birthday greeting. She also expressed hope that the multi-awarded actor will fully recover soon.
“GRABE GREET NYA KO — aside sa greetings ng mga anak ko eto pa ang isang d best .. Thank you nak sa [surprise] and DRA ARCENA SALAMAT SA VIDEO NI jiro.. #kontenalang,” she said.

Jiro, known for his role in the movie “Magnifico,” was found roaming around the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (Naia) last June.
It was Ai-ai, who played the role of Jiro’s mother in the “Tanging Ina” movie franchise, who put Jiro in a rehabilitation facility. She has since been posting updates on the condition of the actor. AJH/CDG
