Melai Cantiveros, whose successful “Your Face Sounds Familiar” campaign was marked by her spot-on impersonation of Elizabeth Ramsey paid tribute to the singer-actress.

In a post on her joint Instagram account with husband Jason Francisco, Cantiveros on Thursday said “May you rest in peace po Ms. Elizabeth Ramsey, you are a true inspiration to many and thank you for bringing happiness to Filipinos. We will miss you and salamat Kaayu Kay chance na masundog tka sa YFSF. #Condolencestothefamily #ElizabethRamsey.”

Ramsey, the mother of singer Jaya, passed away Thursday morning. She was 83.
