“Nakakataba ng puso.”
This was how actor Piolo Pascual described his feelings after actress Sharon Cuneta said she was happy over his reconciliation with her daughter KC Concepcion.
“It’s a thorn off my chest,” Pascual told reporters in a press conference on Tuesday in Quezon City.
Pascual and Concepcion ended their relationship in 2011 after more than a year of being together.
On Monday, Cuneta, in an interview, said she was “very happy” over their reconciliation.
“Ay, I’m very happy. I’m very happy!” Cuneta said, adding she regretted whatever she said against Pascual before.
Pascual, meanwhile, said he “always makes sure that I am at peace with everyone in the show business industry.”
“Sino ba naman ang ayaw ng ganun. Napakaliit ng industiya natin. Napakaliit ng mundo ng show biz para magkaroon tayo ng kaaway, ng iniiwasan. Yun ang iniiwasan ko sa lahat, ayokong pumapasok sa trabaho with a heavy heart,” he said.
Pascual and Concepcion in September ended their rift four years after their breakup.

The former celebrity couple patched things up while they were in London during the Europe tour of ABS-CBN variety show “ASAP 20.”
The two celebrities, who played lead roles in the Philippine remake of Korean drama “Lovers in Paris,” went public about their relationship in 2010 but broke up a year later.
Both did not reveal the reason for their split, but in an emotional interview with talk show “The Buzz,” Concepcion said she was looking for something that a woman would normally look for in a boyfriend. NC/RC
