The singer of the “love anthem” of the hit split-screen lovers, Alden Richards and Maine Mendoza, also known as “AlDub,” has thanked the pair for using his song in the show.

In a tweet on his official Twitter account on late Wednesday night (Philippine time), Grammy award-winning singer Bryan White, whose song “God Gave Me You” is being used by Richards to profess his love to Mendoza, said that he is “humbled and honored” that his song is featured in the “KalyeSerye.”
“I want 2 personally thank @mainedcm @aldenrichards02 for allowing #GGMY to be a part of #ALDUB. I’m humbled and honored #ALDUBNextChapter,” White said.
The singer’s tweet earned 6,207 retweets and 11,309 favorites.
Mendoza was quick to reply to White’s tweet, saying that she hopes to see White perform live.
“Pleasure is ours! More power to you, Bryan! Hope to see you perform live soon!” she said.
White first addressed his Filipino fans in a video posted on his Facebook page last Sept. 19, saying that he can’t think Filipinos enough for making his song a hit in the country.
