“There are lot of questions that are still unanswered,” said Ricky Gallardo, talent manager of the actor-parents of young actress Julia Louise Buencamino, who was found dead on Tuesday night at their home in Quezon City. She was 15.
Gallardo manages the careers of Julia’s parents, character actors Nonie and Shamaine Buencamino. Julia was a cast member of the morning youth drama series “Oh My G!” on ABS-CBN.

“The family feels devastated because of what happened. They ask for prayers. There was no sign that she was depressed,” Gallardo told the Inquirer on Wednesday.
Julia’s family has released this statement through Gallardo: “We would like to make a firm request to allow us to mourn her passing in private. We make this appeal for privacy also on behalf of those close to us, who wish to remember Julia and celebrate her life in peace and quiet.”
The statement added: “We thank you for your love, understanding, and prayers of support during this time of profound grief. Julia led a beautiful and blessed life, and she will be fondly remembered and terribly missed by her family and friends.”
Gallardo said Julia, youngest of four siblings, was found dead by their household help. She was brought to the Cardinal Santos Medical Center in San Juan, where she was pronounced dead on arrival.
Julia’s remains will be at the Mt. Carmel Church, in New Manila, Quezon City starting tonight (July 8). She is survived by siblings Delphine, Gorio and Jose.
Nonie and Shamaine have extended their “thank you” to those who sent the family their condolences, Gallardo said.
A source close to the family said Nonie was on the set of the film “Larawan” in Taal, Batangas, when the incident happened. Meanwhile, Shamaine was rehearsing for her new stage play, the local adaptation of “33 Variations.”
Meanwhile, the Natasha Goulbourn Foundation, an NGO, is dedicated to listen to those who are battling depression or feel that they have suicidal tendencies.
