ALL hail the new queen!

Actress Jennylyn Mercado has been voted as the sexiest woman in the Philippines by a men’s magazine.

Jennylyn, who has been consistently considered as a finalist since 2011, defeated GMA 7 actress Andrea Torres and ABS-CBN actress Ellen Adarna for the title.

Andrea and Ellen were topping the partial results of the voting while Jennylyn was not far behind.

The celebrities and personalities who rounded up the top 10 include Sam Pinto, Angel Locsin, Ellen Adarna, Solenn Heusaff, Jinri Park and Rachel Daquis.

The FHM Sexiest Woman title is determined through public voting.

Angel Locsin got the title in 2010, Sam Pinto was Philippines’ sexiest in 2011 and 2012 while Marian Rivera was crowned as sexiest woman in the country in 2013 and 2014.

Jennylyn started as the first winner of the talent search “Starstruck.” Since then, she starred in various television shows and movies. In 2014, she won the Metro Manila Film Festival Best Actress award for her role in the romantic comedy film “English Only Please.” AJH
