Trumpets Playshop powers-up its 2015 showcase at RCBC Theater

Celebrating its 22nd year, Trumpets Playshop continues to set the stage for emerging talent with the Power-Up Showcase Festival at the renowned RCBC Theater from May 14 to 29, 2015.
Playshop has produced world-class Filipino talents over the years, such as heartthrob Sam Concepcion and MYX VJ Tippy Dos Santos. And of course, let’s not forget alumni Tanya Manalang (Miss Saigon), Jim Ferrer and Christine Allado (Here Lies Love)who have set London’s West End Theaters by storm.
One of the many shows to look forward to this year is the Summerstock Kids’ own rendition of the classic Trumpets original musical Fables and Parables. Directed by Sweet Plantado-Tiongson of The Company, the advanced kids of Playshop present a refreshing take on stories that not only make as good bedtime stories but also teach us the fundamentals of living an honest and fulfilled life.
The Streetdance teachers – Dan Cabrera of Dance Royalties and Michael Arda of the A-Team – and Playshop’s beloved modeling mentor Miss Patty Betita also have something new and exciting to offer the RCBC stage! Veering away from what they usually do as their respective classes’ graduation, the Streetdance and Modeling classes have teamed up and will end the Power-Up Showcase Festival with a bang with the Power-Up Dance Concert and Fashion Show.
