Karylle ‘ready’ for first baby

Singer-actress Karylle has said she is ready to get pregnant and even lost weight in preparation for the arrival of her baby with husband Yael Yuzon.

“Actually nagpapapayat muna ako bago magpa-buntis, but I’m ready any time,” Karylle said, adding she had been working out to achieve a fitter body.

Like her mother Zsa Zsa Padilla, who said she was waiting for the right time before tying the knot with boyfriend Conrad Onglao, the “It’s Showtime” host said she was not in a hurry to get pregnant.

“We are ready when the good Lord says it’s time. The time will come. Everything in God’s perfect time,” Karylle said.

Asked if she wanted a baby girl, boy, or twins, Karylle said it didn’t matter as long as the baby would be “healthy, smart, cute and tough.”

“I am never picky like that. I would love any baby that comes,” she said. “Sabi nila kasi kumpletuhin mo na raw ‘yung hihingiin mo eh so pahaba nang pahaba ‘yung listahan ng good and excellent traits.” YG/RC
