Confirming Sen. Francis “Chiz” Escudero’s statement, his wife Heart Evangelista and her parents seem to be on their way to reconciliation—slowly but surely.
This was after the actress posted on her Instagram account on Wednesday a photo of her and her mother wearing identical dresses they bought while shopping.
“Mom buying the same as well hahah! Twins!” Evangelista said.
She posted another photo a few minutes later, this time with sister Cam Ongpauco.
“Sister @campongpauco buying our sister dress,” the actress said.
On Tuesday, the senator told reporters that his wife and her parents Rey and Cecile Ongpauco had dinner at the Escudero household in Quezon City over the weekend.
“What happened was good. Past conflicts were slowly sorted out this time. I don’t want to preempt things so I let the situation as it is,” he said.
Evangelista was estranged from her parents when they disapproved of Escudero as their daughter’s then fiancé, even accusing the senator of being disrespectful, arrogant and manipulative. YG
