CL was once FP’s regular escort around town. Alas, CL hooked up with a new benefactor in RC.
FP and RC couldn’t be more different. While RC is soft-spoken and genteel, FP is loud and brazen. Perhaps CL merely wants to live a quiet life.
In the past, CL frequently landed in the chismis columns. FP obviously made certain that they were gossiped about regularly. RC, however, manages to keep personal matters strictly off-limits to the press.
Until now.
Territorial
It has been years since their last run-in, but Feisty Celeb and Assertive Colleague are still at it. Apparently FC’s blood pressure still hits the roof whenever AC’s name is mentioned.
A friend made the mistake of alluding to AC. FC’s instinctive reaction was to make a sign of the cross—seemingly a valiant attempt to ward off evil.
AC is allegedly not allowed to venture anywhere near FC’s territory, too.
When FC was away, the bosses asked Bubbly Coworker to pitch in. Poor AC had to wait in vain.
Easy does it
In another studio, Seasoned Host is purportedly being eased out of current project.
Although SH has been loyal in serving the company, the execs lean toward Elegant Colleague.
Perhaps SH is well aware that the tides are turning soon. SH has been scarce of late, while EC is spotted all over town.
SH’s supporters insist that EC is not to blame, but then again this power struggle can get messy any minute.
Mad culprit
Embattled Star is entangled in the web of a salacious scandal. ES has chosen to keep mum on the issue—letting underlings do all the yakking.
An insider, however, relates that ES knows the identity of the culprit who is spreading the rumors. ES suspects Former Partner is behind the smear campaign.
FP cannot get over the fact that ES has found a more attractive and Younger Sweetheart. A mole says ES cannot be blamed for falling for YS who is not only smart and sophisticated, but is not as erratic as FP.
Insanity can be a deal-breaker.

Imaginary friends

Coworkers are spooked by Veteran Thespian’s curious habit. Between takes, VT has the tendency to talk even when alone.
At first, colleagues thought VT was on the cell phone or was merely rehearsing lines.
Apparently, unseen, imaginary friends keep VT company.
VT has lost many loved ones in the past. Who are we to judge if VT finds comfort in conversing with the departed?
Still, the cast and crew are impressed with VT’s talent and professionalism once the cameras start rolling.
Close to home
James Reid and Nadine Lustre, known as JaDine, have grown big as a tandem and have grown up as individuals. Unlike their first two movies, their latest film, “Para sa Hopeless Romantic” is more realistic. James and Nadine portray high school sweethearts who broke up abruptly. When they meet again, it happens in a Jollibee store, where Nadine’s character works part-time.
Nadine can identify with her character because her mom used to be a Jollibee crew member as a student.
Despite their rom-com successes, JaDine said they want to try other genres for a change.
“I want to do fantasy, horror and action,” said James in a press conference hosted by Jollibee, which he endorses with Nadine.
Nadine related: “Hopefully, we’ll always be together in every movie but since we need to grow, we should also open ourselves to other opportunities.”
