Search for next K-Pop Pinoy idol
A new talent search is looking for the next Filipino K-Pop stars.
The series of auditions for TV5’s coming reality talent search “KISPinoy” is currently on its final leg. It will wrap up tomorrow at SM Dasmariñas and SM City Bacolod.
The competition is open to K-Pop hopefuls, ages 13 and up.
“We are looking for total performers,” said Yun-Sung “Matthew” Choi, the show’s producer. “Filipinos are naturally gifted entertainers. We believe that a Filipino can become the next K-Pop idol.”
The one-hour show will premiere on TV5 on June 27, (9 p.m.) and will air for 13 weeks.
The show’s hosts are Richard Gutierrez and Korean model Jinri Park. “I’m very excited about this new show. It is different from other talent shows,” said Park.

The biggest turnout was at the SM North Edsa from May 12 to 14, where almost 2,000 braved the long queue, Cantancio reported.
