Angelica Panganiban posts photos of netizens who watched ‘Tadhana’ online

MANILA, Philippines—Actress Angelica Panganiban again took to Twitter to vent out her frustrations over the pirated copies of “That Thing Called Tadhana” that was uploaded on Youtube, this time involving screengrabs of netizens’ Instagram pictures of them watching the movie online.

Panganiban was apparently irked at some netizens tagging her on Instagram pictures of them watching the pirated copies of the hit movie.

“Agh!!! D ko gets yung nanonood ng pirated tapos t-tag pa ko.. Alam ba nilang iligal yung ginagawa nila??” Panganiban tweeted.

Netizens soon untagged her on Instagram, making the actress tweet again: “Aba!!! Mabibilis ang mga kilos at galaw nila!!! Super tanggal sila ng pag tag sakin sa IG! hahahaha! Kayo na!” Panganiban said.

Panganiban then ranted about the dangers of piracy on artists like them.

“Gusto kaya nila wala ng gawing pelikula ang mga artista? Dahil mawawalan na kami ng trabaho sa pag suporta nila sa piracy..” Panganiban said.

“Kahit kailan d nyo na makikita sa pelikula ang mga idols nyo.. :( mga kinakikiligan nyo? Kasi wala kayong respeto sa trabaho nila..” she added.

She said she hoped she and other netizens could move on from the issue. “O sya. Magsi tulog na tayo. At panibagong araw na ulit bukas ❤️ kagaya ni mace, nag move on. Yun na lang din gawin natin,” Panganiban said.

In the movie, Panganiban’s character Mace, whose heart was broken by a partner of eight years, embarked on a soul-searching journey to Baguio and Sagada with a stranger she met on the airport, Anthony, played by actor JM de Guzman.

The movie is directed by Antoinette Jadaone, who also wrote the script for another hit movie “English Only, Please.”

Panganiban won a Best Actress Award at this year’s Gawad Tanglaw for her performance in the film.
