The Walking Dead’ new midseason episode premieres in PH

MANILA, Philippines—Exactly an hour after it aired in the U.S., the new midseason episode of The Walking Dead (TWD) Season 5 premiered in the Philippines at 11:35 a.m. on Monday through FOX International Channel’s (FIC) ‘parallel play’ program.

Through this program, avid fans of TWD in the country will only have to wait an hour after every new episode airs in the U.S. before they can watch the series on FOX channel, right on their own TV sets.

This means TWD episodes are delivered fresh to the Philippine audience every week.

But for viewers who are unavailable to watch at 11:35 a.m. on Mondays, the series has a prime time replay at 8:55 p.m. on the same day.

Along with TWD Season 5’s midseason premiere in the country, FOX Philippines rolled out the new look of the FIC network with the theme #FOXbestfirst.

FOX Philippines Vice President Jude Turcuato said, “We’re using the premiere of TWD’s 2nd half to introduce a new look for FOX Channel worldwide, from the U.S. to Latin America, to Europe, to Asia.”

“All over the world that’s what we want to communicate to everybody, that the FOX Network is the network that gives the best, first,” he added.

FOX is seen on SkyCable Ch. 50, Destiny Cable Ch. 26, Cable Link Ch. 29, Cignal Digital TV Ch. 112, and over 300 systems nationwide.
