Chiz Escudero on Heart Evangelista: ‘She never ceases to amaze me’

MANILA, Philippines—He is a senator who has a child-like demeanor, while she is a society and showbiz muse who packs a lot of surprises.
Soon-to-be-married couple Francis “Chiz” Escudero and actress Heart Evangelista revealed in a teaser of their prenup video that the best thing about each other is learning how different they are from how the public views them.
For the senator, he initially thought that the actress was stuck-up due to her stature as an actress.
“What do I like the best about her? The fact that she surprises me each time, the fact that I thought kilala ko na siya, hindi pa pala, the fact na akala ko sosyal and way up there, hindi naman pala (I thought I already knew her, but no; the fact that I thought she was stuck-up and way up there, but no),” Escudero said.
“As we experience the daily grind of life, as we experience ordinary things, that’s when I get to know her better. And she never ceases to amaze and surprise me with small things. Well, more so with the big things,” he added.

Meanwhile for Evangelista, she shared how living with Escudero has proven that he is just a normal person.
“He’s so funny, para siyang bata. In fact, to a fault that I forget he’s a senator kasi napaka-normal niyang tao. We live such a normal life, we really enjoy every day of our lives together kasi he really makes me laugh,” Evangelista said.

The prenup teaser showed the couple sitting on a boat in Bulusan Lake, riding a motorcycle, and slow dancing in Sorsogon, Escudero’s hometown.
The wedding of the celebrity couple will take place on February 15 at the exclusive Balesin Island Club in Quezon province. AJH
