Dennis on good terms with exes
“I make sure I am good friends with all my exes. I don’t like having enemies—it’s kind of depressing,” said actor Dennis Trillo, when asked about his relationships with former girlfriends Jennylyn Mercado and Cristine Reyes.
He was seen with Jennylyn, a triathlete, in one of her team’s training exercises. “It was my first time. I didn’t know anyone else there but I had fun. Jen and I don’t talk much about the past. We’ve moved on,” he told writers during the press conference for the horror trilogy “Shake, Rattle and Roll 15,” where he is a cast member.
No pressure
As to whether he might reconcile with Jennylyn, who broke up with actor Luis Manzano last year, Dennis said: “I really can’t say. Right now, we’re just enjoying each other’s company and we will not be pressured.”
Dennis also said he was happy for Cristine, who recently announced she is pregnant and will soon have a daughter with mixed martial arts fighter Ali Khatibi. Asked if he would be godfather to the child, should Cristine ask, Dennis said: “I have no problem with that. It’s bad luck to turn down such a request, so I will gladly accept. We’re good friends anyway.”

I want to concentrate on one child first so there will be no jealousy. I’m happy being single anyway,” the actor said.

The first was for the ATP-produced Lenten special “Unico Hijo,” where he portrayed a gay person suffering from AIDS.
Honor enough
Although the trophy eluded him both times, Dennis said, “It’s already an honor to be noticed by an international award-giving body. I didn’t really expect to win. I attended only to experience how they do things there.”
Dennis is currently seen in the Kapuso drama series “Hiram na Alaala,” with Kris Bernal, Rocco Nacino and Lauren Young. In “Shake, Rattle and Roll 15,” Dennis is in the episode “Ulam,” with Carla Abellana. Jerrold Tarog directs.
The other two stories are “Ahas,” featuring JC de Vera and Erich Gonzales and directed by Dondon Santos, and “Flight 666,” with cast Matteo Guidicelli, Lovi Poe, Daniel Matsunaga, Yael Yuzon, Ria Garcia, Khalil Ramos and Kiray. Perci Intalan directs.
Produced by Regal Films, the movie is an entry in the 2014 Metro Manila Film Festival, which began on Christmas Day and ends on Jan. 7.
