‘Gotham’ debuts Thursday night

Debuting tonight at 9 on WarnerTV, “Gotham” stars Ben McKenzie as Detective James Gordon, years before the appearance of the masked vigilante Batman. The new “prequel” series, featuring familiar and new DC Comics characters, also stars Jada Pinkett-Smith, Donal Logue, Sean Pertwee and David Mazouz (as the young Bruce Wayne). WarnerTV is on SKYCable, Destiny Cable and Cignal.

‘Imelda’ docu on GMA News TV

US-based Filipino filmmaker Ramona Diaz captures the essence of former first lady Imelda Marcos in an award-winning documentary to be aired on GMA News TV on Saturday, Sept. 27, 9:45 p.m.

“Imelda” tells Marcos’ story through rare interviews and archival footage as well as scenes from her daily life.

Reruns are set on Sept. 29, 6 a.m., and Oct. 5, 10 p.m.
