2 PH shorts in US festivals
Two Filipino short films will be screened in festivals in the United States.
Jason Paul Laxamana’s “U.S.F.A.” will be shown at the San Pedro International Film Festival (Los Angeles, Oct. 10-12).
Laxamana’s short is about a boy who dreams of visiting Disneyland.

Kevin Ang’s “Lola” is part of the 50th Chicago International Film Festival (Oct. 9-23).
A Cinemalaya 2014 winner, “Lola” is about a shotgun-wielding grandmother fending off intruders during a zombie apocalypse. Bayani San Diego Jr.
