MANILA, Philippines—Actor-dancer-TV host John Prats proposed to actress-model Isabel Oli on Wednesday night at Eastwood Citywalk in Libis, Quezon City, in what looked like a well-planned and orchestrated production number.

The couple was walking like any other couple do when a flash mob of dancers emerged from nowhere.

Just like in the movies where the hero or lead male woos the female lead, Prats joined the “dance number” complete with what looked like a music video flashed on a nearby screen, featuring who else but Prats.

When the dance number was finished, Prats kneeled holding a ring before Oli and asked her to marry him.

Teary-eyed Oli said yes.

Just like in the movies, the crowd cheered them on with their cell-phone cameras recording the romantic scene.

On August 23, Prats’ former flame, Heart Evangelista also got engaged with her current beau, Senator Chiz Escudero.
