MANILA, Philippines – Chart-topping rapper Drake hosted the Excellence in Sports Performance Yearly (ESPY) Awards 2014 and one of the most memorable moments of Wednesday night’s (Thursday morning, Manila time) show was his impersonation of Filipino boxing icon Manny Pacquiao.

In one of the show’s skits, “Manny Pacquiao Sings,” Drake appeared as the eight-division world champion dressed in a sweatshirt in a recording studio. He was recording his version of the hit “Frozen” soundtrack “Let It Go” a la Pacquiao, while doing an interview on the side.

“I just get into the studio and let it go which is, funny enough, the lyrics of this song,” Drake said.

Except for the music producer and Pacquiao’s “Tito Ness,” everyone looked unimpressed with Drake’s singing.

Interestingly, Drake introduced Floyd Mayweather as an award presenter, taking a jab at the boxer’s notorious high-maintenance personality.
