MANILA, Philippines – Actress Anne Curtis got stung by a box jellyfish during the shooting of her latest “fantaserye” on Wednesday night, and the actress took to Twitter to thank her fans for their concern.

Curtis tweeted on Thursday that she is in St. Luke’s Medical Center in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig for the doctors to monitor her rash and heartbeat.

“Been reading up on the box jellyfish and I’m lucky it wasn’t fatal. This summer, be careful when swimming in the ocean [and] keep [an] eye out,” the “Dyesebel” star said.

The actress then said despite the sting, her experience was still worth it because of her fans’ support.

“I can now sincerely say, lahat ng puyat, pawis, dugo at jellyfish bites makes it all worth it, dahil sa suporta binibigay nyo sa Dyesebel,” Curtis said.

On Tuesday, the actress still managed to show her excitement to hit the beach in Batangas for the shooting of “Dyesebel.”

“Good Morning! On my way to Batangas to tape for #Dyesebel! Can’t wait to hit the beach!” Anne said, while tweeting graphics of sea animals, which, ironically, did not include the jellyfish.
