DOJ forms panel to handle Vhong Navarro’s complaint

MANILA, Philippines—The Department of Justice has already created an all women panel to handle the complaint filed by comedian and TV host Vhong Navarro against Deniece Cornejo, Cedric Lee and several others.

In an office order signed by Prosecutor General Claro Arellano released Thursday, members of the panel are Assistant State Prosecutors Olivia L. Torrevillas, Hazel C. Decena-Valdez and Marie Elvira B. Herrera.

Navarro, Ferdinand Hipolito Navarro in real life, together with the National Bureau of Investigation filed complaints for serious illegal detention, serious physical injuries, grave threats, grave coercion, illegal arrest and blackmail against Cornejo, Lee, Ferdinand Guerrero, Zimmer Rance, Bernice Lee, a certain Mike and two John Does.
