MANILA, Philippines–Taguig City Police is set to file on Wednesday obstruction of justice charges against the management and security agency of the Taguig condominium where the alleged mauling of Vhong Navarro took place.

Senior Superintendent Arthur Felix Asis, Taguig City chief of police, said in a text message to INQUIRER.net that they are currently preparing to file the case against Forbeswood Heights management and its security agency, Megaforce Security.

“We are preparing to file a case of obstruction (of justice) for failure (sic) to cooperate with the police,” Asis said.

Model Deniece Cornejo, who claims Navarro attempted to rape her, is leasing a unit on the second floor, Tower 2 of Forbeswood Heights in Bonifacio Global City.

The actor-TV host, however, denied the allegation that he tried to rape his erstwhile friend in her unit.

He said he was beaten up by Cornejo’s friends, led by businessman Cedric Lee, after accusing him of raping Cornejo. Navarro also accused Lee and his men of extorting P200,000 to P2 million.

Meanwhile, security guards of the condominium confirmed to INQUIRER.net that the management directed them to bar the police from going inside the premises of Forbeswood, which led to the filing of cases against them and the condo’s administration.
