Ivana Alawi gifts mom with P2 million on Mother’s Day

In celebration of Mother’s Day, Ivana Alawi brought her mother Fatima Alawi to a farm in Pampanga where she surprised the latter with P2 million in cash.
Before giving her grand gift, Ivana dared Fatima to go fishing, promising to give her a cash prize for every fish she would catch, as seen in a vlog on the actress’ YouTube channel on Thursday, May 16.
Fatima was able to catch more than 10 fishes with the help of Ivana and her siblings, Mona and Hash, who were also with them during the trip.

Ivana then asked her mom to pick from the folded papers where a certain amount was written, which would determine how much cash prize she would get for each of the fish she caught.
“P2 million; P200,000 each,” read the amount written on the piece of paper she got.
Fatima looked overjoyed as she waved the piece of paper at the camera while being hugged by her children. She also received a pair of shoes, a bouquet of chocolate and flowers, and a cake.
“Syempre, guys, kailangan nating suklian ang kabutihan ng ating mga ina,” Ivana said. “Hindi ko sinasabing magbigay kayo ng ilang milyon o whatever, kung paano po kayo magmahal at kung anong malapit sa puso niyo, make sure to make your mom feel special every day.”
“Habang nandito sila sa ating mundo, dapat talaga pinapahalagahan natin sila, and dapat iniingatan natin sila. Kung ano ‘yung care na binigay nila sa atin nung bata tayo ay suklian natin,” she continued.
Addressing her fellow mothers, Fatima then said, “Keep up the good work kasi alam kong pinakamahirap na trabaho ang [maging] nanay… Basta itanim niyo lang ang maganda, maganda rin ang ani.”
This is not the first time Ivana made a grand gesture to make her mom feel special. In 2021, the actress also gave her mom P1 million on the latter’s birthday. A year later, Ivana surprised her again with a house.
