Bea Alonzo says she did not initiate breakup with Dominic Roque
Bea Alonzo set the record straight about her breakup with former fiance Dominic Roque, as she affirmed that it was not her who initiated the split.
Sitting down with Nelson Canlas for a one-on-one, the Kapuso actress was asked about the false narratives that had been circulating since their separation.
“Actually, that’s false. Hindi ako ang nakipag-break (I’m not the one who started the breakup),” she said, contrary to the false accusation that she initiated the breakup with Roque.
Despite her revelation, the “One More Chance” actress requested that the topic related to their past relationship be finally put to rest as an act of respect to the other party.
“Pero huwag na natin pag-usapan ‘yon (Let’s not talk about it anymore). Let’s leave it in the past….OK naman kami (We’re okay). I think it will be disrespectful to the relationship and to the other person to talk about it,” she said.

When asked how he had been the last few months, Roque gave a simple, confident answer: “I’m OK. I’m happy, actually. Everything is OK.”
The two got engaged in July 2023 and confirmed their separation in February of this year after three years of dating.
Meanwhile, Alonzo is set to make her TV comeback opposite Carla Abellana in “Widows’ War” which will premiere on July 1.
