Sofia Andres on getting married to longtime BF: It’s not the right time yet
Sofia Andres believes that it is not yet the right time to enter into marriage with her non-showbiz boyfriend, Daniel Miranda, explaining how marriage does not always guarantee that the relationship will last.
Sitting down with Karen Davila, the actress-model turned emotional, discussing why she and Miranda haven’t tied the knot despite being in a relationship for almost 10 years.
“Siguro, it’s not the time yet. In God’s time,” she said. “Kasi married o hindi, you’ll never know kung kayo ba talaga. Kasi may married na naghihiwalay pa rin. Meron namang hindi married na nagtatagal naman.”
With both of them coming from broken families, Andres remarked that they understand the importance of not rushing into marriage.
“I was telling my partner, Daniel, kasi he’s not complete also, his family. So if we’re not ready, we don’t have to rush it,” she expressed.

“I’m just very lucky na supportive ‘yung partner ko at tsaka hindi siya nasho-showbiz, kaya wala po akong reklamo. He’s very loving; he’s very supportive, sa anak [namin]. Kaya daddy’s girl po ‘yung anak namin,” explained the actress.
Last month, Andres took to her Instagram Story to debunk the rumors that her boyfriend’s family doesn’t approve of her after she missed the wedding of Miranda’s brother, Enrique, to Ella Pangilinan.
“Lagi niyo na lang akong pinag-uusapan. This will be my first and last post about this. I love Daniel’s family, and [vice] versa. ‘Wag naman sana kayo gumawa ng kwento. Hindi lahat ng chismis totoo even on TikTok [and] Reddit,” she lamented.
Pangilinan previously explained that Andres was not at her wedding because she had a prior commitment.
Andres and Miranda welcomed their daughter, Zoe, in 2019.
