Barbie Forteza is elated as she recalled how the hosts and crew of “It’s Showtime” made her feel welcomed, and is even looking forward to her next appearance on the ABS-CBN noontime show.

Forteza has so far made four guest appearances on the noontime show: July 1, 2023, November 7, 2023, April 24, 2024, and May 11, 2024 episodes.

On the sidelines of the Box Office Entertainment Awards last weekend, the actress told reporters she was asked when her next appearance would be after its May 11 episode.

“Nakakatuwa kasi actually after nung guesting ko yesterday ay tinanong nila ako agad kung kailan ang next free day ko,” she said. (It makes me happy because right after my May 11 guesting, they asked me when my next free day would be.)

As a fan of “It’s Showtime,” Forteza said she wanted to appear on the noontime show again and being liked by its staff is “very overwhelming” for her.

“Talagang gusto nila akong bumalik kaya sobrang nakakataba ng puso kasi sa totoo lang, fan talaga ako ng show. [The fact na] nagustuhan din nila ako ay sobrang nakakaoverwhelm,” she said. “Malalaman natin pero kapag wala akong ibang trabaho, derecho ako sa ‘It’s Showtime’ studio.”

(They really want me to come back. It makes my heart warm because I’m honestly a fan of the show. The fact they liked me is very overwhelming. I don’t know when it will be, but if I don’t have extra work, I will go straight to the “It’s Showtime” studio.)

Forteza is set to star as the lead of the upcoming historical series “Pulang Araw” with Alden Richards, Sanya Lopez, and David Licauco.
