Yen Santos removes birthday greeting for Paolo Contis from Instagram

Yen Santos and Paolo Contis have yet to clarify the status of their relationship, but netizens were intrigued after the actress removed her birthday post for the latter on her Instagram account.
Santos caught the attention of netizens after taking down her post dedicated to Contis’ 40th birthday last March, which included a snippet of him blowing out the candles off his birthday cake, a photo of them together, and a throwback snap of the actor when he was young.

It remains unknown, however, if the actress archived or deleted her post from her Instagram account for good.
From the beginning, the actress’ public posts were very few, while her account does not show that she follows anybody.

Santos’ latest post on the social media platform was uploaded last May 2, which showed a photo of herself in a sleeveless top with the caption: “Hope you have an amazing month. Come what May.”

Meanwhile, the Kapuso star still follows Santos on Instagram, as of press time.

Santos and Contis were hounded by breakup rumors in late 2023 after the actor-host was seen being friendly with fellow Kapuso star Arra San Agustin in compilation videos on TikTok.
This led Contis to clarify in a November 2023 interview with Boy Abunda that he and his “A Faraway Land” co-star are still together.
“Yes, kami pa ni Yen (Yes, Yen and I are still together),” he said. The actor-host also pointed out in the interview that he and San Agustin’s interactions were “maliciously edited.”
Contis confirmed his relationship status with Santos in January 2024 after longstanding speculations. He also stressed that Santos had nothing to do with his split from ex-partner LJ Reyes.
