Paolo Contis clarifies Yen Santos still his GF amid rumors linking him to Arra San Agustin

Paolo Contis dismissed rumors of apparent romance between him and his “Eat Bulaga” co-host Arra San Agustin, saying he’s still in a relationship with actress Yen Santos and that the videos linking him to the TV host were just “maliciously edited.”
In the Nov. 22 episode of “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda” where Contis and his fellow comedian Chariz Solomon were the guests, the actor was taken aback during the “Talk or Dare” segment after host Abunda asked him: “Kayo na ba ni Arra San Agustin? Kayo pa ba ni Yen?”
“Yes, kami pa ni Yen (Yes, Yen and I are still together),” answered the actor-TV host, who chose to “talk” rather than to do the dare of singing the “Bubble Gang” theme song while shedding tears.
“‘Yung kumakalat sa amin ni Arra (The video showing Arra and me) is an edited video of a portion in ‘Eat Bulaga,’ and it was maliciously edited. It’s a love ‘skit’ triangle ni Arra, ako at ni Candy (between Arra, me and Candy)—played by Betong [Sumaya]—and they just keep on posting the Arra side of it,” Contis explained.
While Contis did not state the specific video he was referring to, it can be noted that a TikTok fan account dedicated to him and San Agustin has been sharing compiled clips of the pair from the noontime show.
One of its videos, which was uploaded last Oct. 7, has already garnered over 22,000 likes and more than a million views as of this writing.

‘I’ll be a better dad’
During the interview, Contis also briefly touched on the topic of fatherhood in response to Abunda’s question, “How are you as a parent now?”
“Now, I guess I’m not OK but before, I could say [that] I was a very good dad. And given the opportunity eventually, I will be a better dad,” he vowed.
Contis has three daughters. He shares his two eldest children, Xonia and Xalene, with former EB Babe Lian Paz, while his youngest daughter Summer is his child with actress LJ Reyes.
It can be recalled that during a January interview with Abunda, Contis admitted not giving financial support to his children and that he had his “own reasons” for doing so.
Meanwhile, Contis confirmed last January his relationship with Santos, after over a year of speculation from the public.
