Eddie Garcia named people’s choice best actor at Asian Film Awards

MANILA, Philippines—Eddie Garcia won the People’s Choice Favorite Actor award for the movie “Bwakaw” at the 7th Asian Film Awards in Hong Kong Monday night.

Last year’s People’s Choice Favorite Actress Eugene Domingo presented the trophy to Garcia.

Jury head Hong Kong actor Andy Lau applauded the Filipino’s victory.
