Fuming Ruffa Gutierrez quits TV5′s ‘Paparazzi’

By

RUFFA Gutierrez

MANILA, Philippines—A fuming Ruffa Gutierrez announced she was quitting as co-host of entertainment talk show “Paparazzi Showbiz Exposed” on TV5, calling its reporting “trashy.”

“From this day on, I will no longer be part of ‘Paparazzi’,” Gutierrez announced on microblogging site Twitter. “I will never tolerate DISRESPECT in any form done to me, to my children or to my beloved viewers.”

“I refuse to be part of trashy reporting that degrades people or shames others,” said the TV host/actress hashtagging the #Paparazzi in her tweet.

Ruffa, who will turn 38 Sunday, was having an advance celebration of her birthday in “Paparazzi” where she was allegedly treated with disrespect.

“Binastos ako ng #Paparazzi on my birthday. I’m so sorry but THE BUZZ would never do this to me. EVER!,” she said, referring to the ABS-CBN entertainment talk show that she co-hosted before moving to TV5.

In a separate barrage of tweets, Gutierrez’ mother, Annabelle Rama, raged against the program. She said that writers of “Paparazzi”  should be sacked as she berated them calling them “bobo” (idiots) for writing lewd scripts.

Rama complained about the “lewd” questions asked to her daughter during the show, which is telecast live nationwide every Saturday.

“Tama ba itong questions ng mga writers ng Paparazzi on national TV, with their 11:30 am to 12:30 noon time slot?” Rama said on her Twitter.

“These are the questions: ‘Sino kila Aga, JL, Robin ang pinaka malaki ang tit*’ ‘Sino kila Zoren, Aga, Robin ang magaling sa kama?” she added, quoting questions asked by the other “Paparazzi” hosts.

Akala mo naman me reputasyon na dapat irespeto ang mag-inang ito. You get what you deserved.

TV5 IS trashy. That’s why I never watch it. It degrades the values of Filipino’s. Dunno why it’s even tolerated. Obviously its owners just want to make money on the expense of other people. It’s disgusting and shameful!

There are so many other things that are much more meaningful to talk about. There are other people whom we know that can handle a situation like hers in a much better way. She has a very irritating behavior much like her mother, as a quitter.
