When you have a beauty-queen daughter, you want her to look like one in every way possible. For Joey Marquez he tried—at least—his best to glam up his little girl Winwyn by showcasing his makeup skills.

The 2017 Reina Hispanoamericana titleholder featured her dad in her first vlog uploaded on YouTube yesterday, saying she was inspired by Alex Gonzaga’s own “Dad does my makeup” video. She thus decided to do her own tutorial with the help of Joey.

Jokingly admitting that he was not familiar with some of the cosmetics being used, Joey surprisingly knew where to put each product, and the step-by-step technique on which applies first.

Though some steps were done smoothly, the actor wanted to make sure that Winwyn’s makeup was perfect. Impressed at first, the beauty queen then cackled when he overdid the eye shadow.

He even shared a makeup advice, too: “The higher the eyebrows, the better.” He also joked that contour (which he did twice) was made famous by travel agencies. Why? “When you apply for budget fare, it’s ‘contour.’ Contour siya, mas muraPag ‘tour’ lang siya, mas mahal (When it’s contour, it’s cheaper. If ‘tour’ only, it’s more expensive).”

And when the results came, he proudly called his masterpiece The Everlasting Unique Look, which  “no one can ever copy.”

Good job, Joey!  /ra
