‘Homeland’ wins Globe for best TV drama series

BEVERLY HILLS, California— “Homeland” has won the Golden Globe for best TV drama series.

The other nominees Sunday night were “Breaking Bad,” ”Boardwalk Empire,” ”Downton Abbey” and “The Newsroom.”

The 70th annual Golden Globes are airing live from the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, with hosts Tina Fey and Amy Poehler.
