Jennifer Lawrence wins comedy best actress Globe

LOS ANGELES – Jennifer Lawrence won the Golden Globe for best actress in a musical or comedy on Sunday, for her role in the dark romantic comedy “Silver Linings Playbook.”

Lawrence, famous as Katniss Everdeen in “The Hunger Games,” beat fellow nominees Emily Blunt in “Salmon Fishing in The Yemen,” Judi Dench in “The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel,” Maggie Smith in “Quartet,” and Meryl Streep in “Hope Springs.”
