Esnyr’s comeback online series features Vice Ganda, DonBelle, Enchong Dee
Content creator-turned-actor Esnyr Ranollo made his YouTube comeback with the online series “First Day High,” featuring appearances from major celebrities including Vice Ganda, Donny Pangilinan, Belle Mariano and Enchong Dee.
“Usapang FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL muna tayo!!! ‘Yung kakasimula pa lang ng eskwela pero ‘yung diwa mo nasa bakasyon pa. Balikan natin ang mga kaganapan sa unang araw ng pasukan. Relate ka ba?” the video description read.
Released on Sunday, June 14, the 53-minute high-school-themed episode opened with Esnyr getting woken up by his family for his first day of school as it featured notable and iconic first-day back-to-school happenings like commuting and getting reunited with friends and former classmates, among others.

The episode then introduced Vice Ganda as the school’s new principal, where he delivered an opening speech. Later, it was revealed that his speech was A.I.-generated.
Meanwhile, Pangilinan and Mariano played faculty members who formed a romantic connection, while Dee portrayed another teacher.
The rest of the episode then featured actor-comedian Empoy Marquez, newcomer Anthony Constantino, beauty queen Joy Barcoma, Donna Cariaga and online personalities such as Mimiyuuuh, Pitik Queen and Queen Dura.
Ranollo’s fellow housemates from “Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition,” including Klarisse de Guzman, Shuvee Etrata, Mika Salamanca, Will Ashley and Brent Manalo, were also part of the episode.
The series revolves around relatable Filipino school experiences and follows students navigating their first day of classes. It has been a year since Ranollo uploaded an episode.
The school-themed comedy content helped Ranollo gain popularity online as he played different roles, including a student, teacher and canteen staffer, among others.
As of this writing, “First Day High” has gained almost three million views within 24 hours of its release. The new episode also references several memorable online moments such as Pitik Queen’s “soft moves” and Vice Ganda’s AI script.
Known for his comedic portrayals of Filipino classroom life on TikTok and YouTube, Ranollo previously appeared in the movies “Love Is Color Blind” and “Balota” as well as in the TV series “He’s into Her.”
The content creator also joined “Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition” in 2025, where he finished as one of the season’s top finalists. /ra
