Apple David shares first cozy post with Chad Gammad amid backlash

Despite the backlash she received after opening up about their May-December relationship, sports personality Apple David is seemingly unbothered by the noise as she shared sweet moments with Chad Gammad in their first official couple post.

In a video compilation on TikTok on Monday, June 15, the sports reporter posted clips with Gammad, showing their affectionate moments together, including their dinner dates and gym sessions. The clips also captured the pair sharing kisses and hugs. 

The post was accompanied by the song “Those Eyes” by New West, with the lyrics flashing on screen as the couple’s sweet moments played.

It marked the first time David publicly posted such content featuring the young basketball player, following weeks of controversy surrounding their relationship.

The comments section in the video has been turned off at the time of posting. However, netizens continue to repost the clips on other social media platforms and criticize the courtside reporter for dating the young baller. 

“Wala talagang kaba si apple david no? Talagang nag post pa yan siya. Ewan ko sayo teh, 18 pa lang talaga yan tapos 33 ka na. Awa na lang sa bata. Bully ka na nga groomer ka pa. Ewan ko kung saan ka kumukuha ng lakas ng loob,” lamented one netizen on X, which gained 10,000 likes.

The pair share a 15-year age difference, with David being 33 and Gammad having turned 18 in October of last year.

Last month, David officially confirmed that she and Gammad are dating, as she admitted that it’s a “risky relationship.” 

At the time, David apologized to those who were “offended” by their relationship as she stressed that the two of them are already adults who know what they are doing. /edv
