Vice Ganda expressed regrets as he will not be able to attend Jessica Sanchez’s concert as a guest performer due to “unforeseen circumstances.”

The comedian-TV host released a statement on Instagram on Saturday, May 16, hours prior to the Filipino-American singer’s show at the Araneta Coliseum.

“This is to regretfully inform everyone that I will no longer be performing at Jessica Sanchez’s concert scheduled today, May 16, 2026. Much as I am looking forward to perform in the said concert, I won’t be able to attend and perform due to some unforeseen circumstances,” he said.

No specific reason was immediately stated. Nonetheless, Vice Ganda extended her well-wishes to Sanchez.

Despite Vice Ganda’s absence, Sanchez’s concert still has a star-studded lineup of guest performers, which includes Regine Velasquez, Gary Valenciano, Martin Nievera, Morissette, Darren Espanto and James Reid. /ra
