Andres Muhlach, Ashtine Olviga meet on flowery hill for debut film teaser

The onscreen tandem of Andres Muhlach and Ashtine Olviga — also known as AshDres — marked another milestone in their careers as they are set to star in their first film, “Minamahal: 100 Bulaklak Para Kay Luna.”
A teaser of the loveteam’s upcoming film was uploaded on Viva Trending’s YouTube channel on Friday, July 4, where they will star as Raffy and Luna, respectively.
The clip started with Andres looking closely at a shrub of tiny flowers through a magnifying glass, until Ashtine’s figure was seen on the lens.
“Luna?” Andres said while smiling.
“Raffy,” Ashtine said in response.
Details about “Minamahal: 100 Bulaklak Para Kay Luna’s” storyline, cast members, and its premiere date are yet to be announced, as of this writing. The film will be directed by Jason Paul Laxamana, per reports, the same director behind the 2017 cult favorite “100 Tula Para kay Stella,” starring Bela Padilla and JC Santos.
Andres and Ashtine’s tandem gained popularity after joining forces in the youth series “Ang Mutya ng Seksyon E,” based on the Wattpad novel of the same name. It tells the story of Jay-Jay (Olviga) transferring to the prestigious Higher Value International School, only to find herself in the rowdiest section.
According to the series’ director Theodore Boborol, the series was confirmed for a second season, although it remains unknown when it will be released.
Andres is part of the prominent Muhlach clan as the son of award-winning actor Aga Muhlach and Miss Universe Philippines 1994 Charlene Gonzales. He has appeared in multiple TV commercials and advertisements and is also part of the sitcom “Da Pers Pamily” with his parents and twin sister, Atasha.
Meanwhile, Ashtine was part of the P-pop girl groups UGG, P-pop Generation, and LITZ, until she embarked on an acting career. She appeared in the films “Sunny,” “Road Trip,” “Marita,” and “Will You Be My Ex.”
