Crissa Liaging, a content creator whose video with Philmar Alipayo went viral in May 2024, spoke up about the surfer’s alleged split with his fiancée Andi Eigenmann.
A video of Liaging and Alipayo went viral in May 2024 wherein they were hanging out at a bar while standing close together. At one point, Alipayo leaned in close to the content creator and held her waist, which led to netizens accusing the surfer of being unfaithful to Eigenmann.
The actress, however, defended Alipayo from the cheating allegations while seemingly accusing Liaging of purposely editing a video to create a stir between the couple.
Eight months after the controversial video made headlines, Liaging took to her TikTok account on Saturday, February 8, to react to the relationship drama between Eigenmann and Alipayo, after the surfer was alleged to be cheating on the actress with a Swedish woman named Pernilla Sjoö.
“Grabe ‘yung mga pambabash na natanggap ko sa mga Bisaya noong nagkaroon ako ng issue kay Philmar, tinawag pa nila akong b*rik*t (I was heavily bashed, especially by Visayans, when I had an issue with Philmar. They even accused me of being a slut),” she said in Bisaya.

Without mentioning Sjoö’s name in the video, Liaging claimed that a certain woman received fewer negative comments than hers, just because not a lot of people knew how to speak in English.
“Pero ngayon na may bagong babae, hindi niyo mabash. Bakit, hindi kayo marunong mag-English… t*r*nt*do kayo. Nanggigil ako (But now there’s a new woman, you can’t bash her. Why? Don’t you know how to speak in English? You are all fools. I’m annoyed by this),” she said.
Neither Eigenmann nor Alipayo have yet to comment on Liaging’s video, as of this writing.
A month after Liaging’s controversial video with Alipayo, Eigenmann said in a “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda” interview that she and Alipayo initially thought the video to be amusing since the surfer is “aware of his boundaries” when he interacts with anyone. However, she seemingly accused Liaging of having a malicious intent in uploading the video on social media.
“I guess I know him well so I know what his type is. When I saw the video, we ignored it… What bothered me is finding out that it was done on purpose. The person in the video was the one who posted it. That’s what bothered me because you just created something super unnecessary,” Eigenmann said.
