‘Home Along Da Riles’ teases return in 2025
The cast of the hit 1990s sitcom “Home Along Da Riles” is gearing for a comeback as they teased “[returning] along da riles” in 2025.
Claudine Barretto, who is among the show’s main cast members, shared via her Instagram page on Monday, Dec. 23, a clip which shows a diorama of the sitcom’s set while its theme song plays in the background.
“The Cosmes are back! See you in 2025!” the actress said in the caption.
“Our favorite family returns along da riles this 2025,” it further says.
Further details on the project, however, were not immediately disclosed.

“Home Along Da Riles,” which ran from 1992 to 2003, starred the late comedians Dolphy and Babalu, who respectively played the roles of Kevin Cosme and Ritchie.
Other cast members including Barretto, Nova Villa, Smokey Manaloto, Vandolph Quizon, Boy2 Quizon, Gio Alvarez, Jenny Quizon, Maybelyn dela Cruz and Cita Astals had several reunions prior to the teaser of their 2025 comeback.
The group also recently gathered for a Christmas party, as seen in a video shared by Barretto.

In September 2023, a restored version of the show’s movie adaptation opened the Philippine Film Industry Month, with its cast attending the special screening.
“The stories of the time we were still doing ‘Home Along da Riles’ remain fresh in people’s minds up to now,” Villa said at the time.
“That’s what comedy does to us. It is very much a part of Filipino culture. It helps us deal with life’s hardships, with our grievances,” she added.
