KC Concepcion says dad Gabby gets mistaken as her BF

KC Concepcion sent birthday love to her dad, Gabby Concepcion, and revealed how the young-looking actor had been mistaken for her boyfriend by her friends abroad.

The actress greeted Gabby by compiling their old and recent photos together, as seen in a video on her Instagram page on Thursday, Nov. 7.

“It’s November, and that means celebrating the birth month of my sweet, kind, and guapo Papa love!” she said in the caption.

“I thank God everyday for our effortless bond, and the chance He gave us to be closer than ever as father-daughter,” she stated.

KC then underscored that she is “always grateful for the parents God chose for [her].”

Concluding her birthday post, the actress shared, “People abroad sometimes think he’s my boyfriend when they catch us talking on video call.

Aside from KC, her mom and Gabby’s former wife, Megastar Sharon Cuneta, also greeted the actor during their “Deart Heart” show in Canada.

Gabby and Cuneta were in a love team that began after they starred in the 1981 film “Dear Heart.” Three years after the movie was released, the pair got married, then welcomed KC a year later. The former couple had their marriage annulled in 1987.
