Robin Padilla says Donald Trump ‘can save the world from war’
As the polls for the presidential elections in the United States are being counted, Robin Padilla earlier expressed his support for Republican presidential aspirant Donald Trump, who is seeking to be reelected as the 47th president of the country.
In his Facebook post on Tuesday, Nov. 5, the actor-turned-politician said that only “Trump can save the world from war” while looking back at how he supported the latter in the 2016 presidential elections.
“8 taon na ang nakalilipas mula noong ikinampanya at nailuklok sa pagiging Pangulo ng Amerika si Ginoong Donald Trump. Ito po ang Naisulat ko noong Ika 13 ng nobyembre 2016,” said Padilla.
“Noong 2020 elections hindi man personal na nakavote si Mariel sa Amerika at ako rin ay hindi na nakapagkampanya dahil sa shocked na ibinigay ng pandemic. Hindi pinalad si Ginoong Donald Trump na manalo,” he continued.

Article continues after this advertisementWhile looking back at his heartbreak over Trump’s loss, Padilla reiterated that the presidential aspirant is the only one who can “save the world from war.”
“Only Trump can save the world from War. Yun lang po,” he said. “My dearest countrymen living as dual citizens in the United States of America. Vote for World Peace. Vote for Trump. Fighting without fighting is the true trait of a leader. Trump tayo mga kababayan.”

Trump is seeking reelection as the president of the United States under the Republican slate after serving as head of the state from 2017 to 2021. He and running mate JD Vance are up against Democrat aspirant Vice President Kamala Harris and Tim Walz.
Apart from Padilla, the former president and businessman has earned the support of celebrities Kim Kardashian, Kanye West, Mel Gibson and Zachary Levi.
